Jenyi writes songs that feel like they come straight out of your diary. Hers, too. For a final project in high school, she made her classmates cry with a song she wrote about graduation. From that moment on, she knew songwriting was her life’s calling. After graduating UCLA, she received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, where she refined her vocal performance, songwriting, and production skills. Jenyi grew up as a dancer in the Bay, competing in dance competitions with her local studio and collegiate team in her teen years. Her music focuses on emotional storytelling, drawing largely from her own personal experiences, especially those in love and heartbreak. Apart from singing and writing, Jenyi is a multi-faceted creator who plays several instruments, produces, engineers, DJs, and dances, maintaining full creative direction throughout every aspect of her artistry.

She is fascinated by the human imagination’s seemingly infinite source for creation, not only of artistic works but of every aspect of our lived experience. Her mission is for everyone to find this creative light within themselves through the power of music.
